-------------------------------------- 8053-SW02 REVISION 1.71 -------------------------------------- - HARDWARE KEY NO MORE NEDED TO RUN THE 8053-SW02 SOFTWARE - Corrected problem with downloading EHP50 spectrum files from 8053 -------------------------------------- 8053-SW02 REVISION 1.68 -------------------------------------- - Saving of EHP50A/B spectrum in text table form - Double dynamic 90/100 dB for EHP50 A/B models support -------------------------------------- 8053-SW02 REVISION 1.67 -------------------------------------- 8053-SW02 software has been implemented with two new important features: 1) To generate an alarm message on the PC's display each time the field overpass the threshold limit defined by the user. 2) To get an hardware signal to be used to generate an external alarm or to switch ON/OFF any power devices (lamps, relays etc.) If your are using SB-04 (switching box) you can define a different limit for each probe connected to it. In this case you will find in each single device's set-up menu the proper window where to define the limit. The alarm is notified with two different solutions: - Visible alarm - Electronic alarm. The visible alarm is a red window that appears on the display of the PC during the detection of an over range of the measured EM field. The electronic alarm is represented by a voltage inversion on the pin 4 of the RS232 serial port used to connect 8053 or SB-04 to the PC. We are using the same serial port because in many PCs (notebook, laptop, etc.) there is just only one COM port available. Some of you asked for an Acoustic alarm generated by the PC; this feature can not be implemented because to turn on the loudspeaker of the PC we must use the PC interrupt that will stop the acquisition process. I remember that 8053-SW02 used with 8053 can run only under Windows 95/98 (it requires our hardware key), while if you are using SB-04 the software runs also under Windows NT/2000 because SB-04 does not requires any hardware key.
